I ran into an interesting example when trying out discrete colormaps. In this case, the colorbar looks correct for symlog and incorrect for log. See screenshots below and this state file: quickview-state_dst.json. I'll leave it to @patrickoleary to decide whether to fix this or to simply use symlog under the "LOG" icon.
